Chojuro Takahashi was a captain in the Imperial Japanese Navy who commanded the training cruiser Kashima from 28 April 1945 to 27 September 1945. He survived her sinking.

The sources used here do not record his date or place of birth or anything about his family.

He graduated from the Naval Academy at Etajima in its 49th class, and before this command he had been captain of the light carrier Ryuho.

He took command on 28 April 1945. Early on 19 May, in the Tsushima Strait, Kashima rammed and sank the cargo ship Daishin Maru and put in to Chinhae with slight damage. In June her squadron hunted the American submarines that had entered the Sea of Japan and found none. She survived the war, and in September she was being fitted out as a repatriation transport when he was relieved on 27 September 1945.

What became of him after this command is not recorded in the sources used here.
