George Alan Kenneth McCombe, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, had HMS Enterprise (D52) from the middle of 1945 into early 1946, as a commander. She was trooping between Britain, Bombay, Colombo and South Africa, and she paid off at Portsmouth in January 1946.

The fetched uboat.net page gives no birth date, no place and no date of death.

The page gives his rank as commander, RNVR, and it says it has no career or biographical information. It prints no rank table and no decoration. The catalog rank is Commander. The English form is the rank on the page. The catalog navy value is rn, which is the value used for a British officer. The page itself says Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.

Uboat.net gives him Enterprise from mid 1945 to early 1946, after Stephen Barry. Mason's trooping list runs from June 1945: Bombay in June and July, Colombo in August and September, Colombo again in October and November, and South Africa in December. She returned to Portsmouth from Simonstown in January 1946 and paid off. The pages do not give the day he joined or the day he left, and they do not say which of those voyages were his.

The fetched pages do not record a later appointment or a death. She was sold to BISCO on 11 April 1946.
