Peter Grenville Lyon Cazalet had HMS Durban from 13 October 1941 until 26 September 1942. He was in command when Japan entered the war. He had her for the Singapore convoys, the bomb hit north of the Sunda Strait, and the passage to New York for repair.

Uboat.net gives his birth as 29 July 1899. It gives no place and no death. The page styles him captain, DSO, DSC.

The rank line on the saved page begins with sub-lieutenant on 15 July 1919. He is a captain on the ship list.

Durban's chronology for his year is the China Force, convoy DM1, the February evacuation of Singapore, the loss of a 6-inch mounting, Fremantle, and the New York repair from 9 April 1942. He left her on 26 September, after she had come home and was working up again for the Eastern Fleet.

No death and no later command were on the fetched page.
