Philip Foster Glover had HMS Dragon from 26 July 1942 until 15 January 1943. She spent that command in dockyard hands, first at Chatham and then at Liverpool.

Uboat.net gives his birth as 9 February 1894. It gives no place and no death.

The rank line begins with cadet on 15 January 1907. He is a captain on the ship list.

Mason has the refit, the removal of a 6-inch gun and the forward 4-inch guns, and the fitting of pom-poms and radar. Uboat.net ends his command on 15 January 1943 and says the ship was transferred to Poland that day, at Birkenhead, while still refitting. Mason dates a formal transfer to September 1943. The command line keeps the uboat.net date because Mason does not name Glover. The September date is the conflict, and it is not hidden.

No death and no later command were on the fetched page. He is not Cato Douglas Glover, Jr.
