HMS Implacable was an Implacable-class fleet carrier built by Fairfield at Govan, launched on 10 December 1942 and commissioned on 28 August 1944. She began a refit at Rosyth on 15 December to prepare for the British Pacific Fleet, which included more light anti-aircraft guns. She left to join the fleet and reached Port Said on 25 March 1945 and Sydney on 8 May 1945.
She reached the fleet's main base at Manus Island on 29 May 1945. Rear Admiral Sir Patrick Brind hoisted his flag there, and on 14 June she took part in Operation Inmate, the attack on Truk. She joined the main body of the fleet off the Japanese coast, sailing on 6 July and meeting it ten days later. After the surrender she repatriated liberated prisoners of war and soldiers for the rest of the year. She was sold for scrap on 27 October 1955.
