HMS King George V was a battleship of the Royal Navy. She was identified in the fleet by the pennant number 41.

Captain Thomas Edgar Halsey assumed command on 15 February 1943. He remained her captain until 7 June 1945, when he was relieved. On 1 April 1945, in the Okinawa battle, King George V was Rawlings's flagship in Task Force 57. In May 1945 she bombarded Sakishima. She came through that bombardment afloat.

Captain Brian Betham Schofield took command on 7 June 1945, the day Halsey was relieved. King George V survived the war.
