HMS Wager was a destroyer of the Royal Navy. Roland Chisnell Watkin was her captain from 28 February 1944.

On 23 March 1945 she sailed with Task Force 57. She went with that force in the screen of the carriers.

Her work there was to screen the carriers against the Sakishima airfields. On that day the destroyer held the screen, with those airfields the threat the carriers were facing. On 1 April 1945, at Okinawa, Wager was in the screen of Task Force 57. She was not sunk.

Wager survived the war. She was not sunk, and the ship that had screened the carriers against the Sakishima airfields, and that stood in the Task Force 57 screen at Okinawa, was still afloat when the war ended.
