Witte de With was an Admiralen-class destroyer of the Royal Netherlands Navy, pennant WW. Wilton-Feijenoord built her at Schiedam. Her keel was laid on 28 May 1927, she was launched on 11 September 1928, and she was commissioned on 20 February 1929. Lieutenant Commander Pieter Schotel had her in the Java Sea.

On 27 February 1942 she was with Doorman's striking force. One of her own depth charges fell overboard and exploded close astern. The blast damaged her propellers. She was not sunk in the battle.

Doorman sent her back to Surabaya with the damaged Exeter. A bomb hit her forecastle on 1 March. Her crew scuttled her on 2 March. The American narrative says she was lost in dock when the bomb hit. She did not go down in the Java Sea.
