No photograph of this ship. This is a diagram of the Yugumo class, not a picture of her.

Fujinami was a Yugumo-class destroyer, built at Fujinagata, launched on 20 April 1943 and commissioned on 31 July 1943. No photograph that shows her, and only her, has been found.

On 25 October 1944 she was in Kurita's screen off Samar. She was not sunk that day. Chokai was disabled in the same fight and lost before the day ended. That loss is not pinned to one American ship, and it is not pinned to Fujinami.

On 27 October American aircraft sank her north of Iloilo. Not credited to one plane.
