Satsuki was a destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy and one of the Mutsuki class. Shunsaku Ikeda took command on 10 September 1941. Yoshiro Sugihara succeeded him on 10 June 1942.
The captaincy changed twice in the late spring of 1943. Saburo Kojima assumed command on 20 May, and Shiro Koizumi followed on 26 May.
At the Battle of Kula Gulf on 6 July 1943, Satsuki was last in the second transport group. She came through without a hit. When Nagatsuki went aground, Satsuki tried to pull her off and could not. Tadao Iino became captain on 1 September 1943. Tadayoshi Sugiyama took command on 8 January 1944.
American carrier aircraft sank Satsuki in Manila Bay on 21 September 1944. The loss is not pinned to one plane.
