Tokitsukaze was a Kagero-class destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy. The Uraga Dock Company built her, and she was launched on 10 November 1939. She was commissioned on 15 December 1940. Giichiro Nakahara took command the same day. Masayoshi Motokura became captain on 3 September 1942.

She was sunk in the Battle of the Bismarck Sea. That battle is dated 2 March 1943, and the result given for her is that she was lost.

The hull went down in an air attack southeast of Finschhafen on 3 March 1943. Allied aircraft sank her with bombs. The strike is carried against the air attack as a whole, with no single plane named for it.
