FateAfloat. Sold in 1949. Scrapped in 1972.

Laid down, displacement, length, beam, draft, speed, and complement are not stored for each hull, so this table leaves them out.

Cape Georgia was a C1-B freighter. Consolidated Steel at Wilmington, California, built her as Maritime Commission hull 1023 (yard hull 339) and delivered her in July 1943. She was a merchant ship, not a Navy ship.

She sailed in the Northern Garrison Group, Task Group 51.6, with defense troops, and was at Kwajalein and Majuro from 5 to 8 February 1944. She was not sunk. She was sold in 1949 and scrapped in 1972. This account rests on the Marshalls order of battle and the Maritime Commission build lists used on this site. No separate history of this ship was found, so nothing beyond those records is claimed here.
