USS Hutchins (DD-476) was a Fletcher-class destroyer of the United States Navy. She was launched on 20 February 1942 and commissioned on 17 November 1942. E. W. Herron became her captain on 17 November 1942, the day the ship was placed in commission.

On 25 October 1944, Hutchins was in the Battle of Surigao Strait. In that battle she was on the right flank.

Hutchins survived the war. The destroyer launched in February 1942 and commissioned that November was still afloat when the fighting ended. In January 1948 she was sold for scrap.
