USS Jarvis (DD-393) was a Bagley-class destroyer of the United States Navy. On 7 December 1941 she was in the harbor at Pearl Harbor when the base was attacked. She remained afloat through that morning.

On 8 August 1942, off Guadalcanal, a torpedo hit her. She tried to leave. Aircraft sank her the next day. The destroyer went down with all hands. The air attack that sank her is not credited to one plane. A later destroyer, Jarvis (DD-799), carried the name on a different hull.
