USS Knapp (DD-653) was a Fletcher-class destroyer of the United States Navy. She was launched on 10 July 1943 and commissioned on 16 September 1943.

Frank Virden took command on the day she was commissioned and remained her captain until 10 July 1944. William Butler Brown assumed command on 10 July 1944 and led the ship from that date.

In 1945 Knapp served at Okinawa. From 27 May to 26 June she stood radar picket duty and came through that assignment afloat. Knapp survived the war. The hull was sold for scrap on 27 August 1973.
