USS Leutze (DD-481) was a Fletcher-class destroyer of the United States Navy. She was a fleet destroyer, and her career belongs to the wartime Navy.

The ship was launched on 29 October 1942. Well over a year lay between that day and the date she joined the fleet. Leutze was commissioned on 4 March 1944. B. A. Robbins was her captain from that day.

On 25 October 1944 she was in the Battle of Surigao Strait, on the left flank. That action is the fight named for her in the wartime record of this hull. She came through the war. The hull was still afloat when the fighting ended. On 17 June 1947 the Navy sold Leutze for scrap. That sale closed the life of DD-481.
