A boat of this type, not a photograph of this hull
No photograph of PT-150. This is a U.S. Navy PT boat patrolling off New Guinea in 1943, the same kind of boat. It is not this hull. Public domain, via Wikimedia Commons.

USS PT-150 was a motor torpedo boat of the United States Navy, a small warship of the PT type. She took part in the Battle of the Bismarck Sea, dated 2 March 1943. Aircraft carried out the Allied attack that sank the Bismarck Sea convoy. The motor torpedo boats came in after dark.

PT-150 was among those boats. On the night of 3-4 March 1943 she attacked the wrecks, the hulks left in the Bismarck Sea after the air attack.

On the night of 24-25 October 1944 she was on the Surigao Strait patrol. That patrol was her place in the Battle of Surigao Strait, dated 25 October 1944, with the motor torpedo boats on duty in the strait.

The two nights stand well apart, one in March 1943 and the other in October 1944. In the Bismarck Sea she attacked wrecks after aircraft had sunk the convoy. In Surigao Strait she served on the motor torpedo boat patrol.
