FateNot recorded. One of the motor torpedo boats on patrol in Surigao Strait on the night of 24-25 October 1944.

Laid down, displacement, length, beam, draft, speed, and complement are not stored for each hull, so this table leaves them out.

A boat of this type, not a photograph of this hull
No photograph of PT-328. This is a U.S. Navy PT boat patrolling off New Guinea in 1943, the same kind of boat. It is not this hull. Public domain, via Wikimedia Commons.

USS PT-328 was a motor torpedo boat of the United States Navy, a small fast craft of the PT type. On the night of 24–25 October 1944 she was on patrol in Surigao Strait with the other motor torpedo boats assigned to those waters.

The patrol was a large one. Thirty-nine boats were out in the strait that night, and PT-328 was one of them.

That patrol carried her into the Battle of Surigao Strait. The battle is dated 25 October 1944, and her place in it was with the motor torpedo boat patrol.

The night of 24–25 October and the battle on the 25th are the same stretch of duty for this boat: she kept the strait with the motor torpedo boats, one hull among the thirty-nine on patrol.
