USS Raleigh (CL-7) was an Omaha-class light cruiser of the United States Navy. On 7 December 1941, during the Attack on Pearl Harbor, a torpedo struck her. The hit has not been pinned to one plane. The explosion left the cruiser so far over that she nearly capsized. She was kept afloat. The damaged ship was saved, and she was repaired after the torpedo strike.

Raleigh survived the war. The hull that had nearly turned over at Pearl Harbor came through the fighting that followed and was still afloat when the war ended.
