USS The Sullivans (DD-537) was a Fletcher-class destroyer of the United States Navy. She was launched on 4 April 1943 and commissioned on 30 September 1943.

Kenneth McLoud Gentry was her captain from the day she was commissioned until 22 July 1944. On that date Ralph Jacob Baum took command and remained captain until 19 September 1945.

Robert Richard Dupzyk became captain on 19 September 1945. The destroyer came through the war and survived.

She was donated to the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park in Buffalo, New York. A later ship, USS The Sullivans (DDG-68), carries the same name on a separate hull.
