- Position
- 22h 15m 32.62s, +53° 41′ 19.4″
- V magnitude
- 10.32
- Where
- 65 arcmin southwest of V345 Lac, in the 1.2° ring
- Signal
- One minimum every 1.87 days. About 0.06 mag, down to 95 percent of the light. No second minimum.
What TESS shows
Seventy-two minima in the same six sectors give
Min = BTJD 2862.3671 + 1.86948 E
The minimum falls to 95 percent of the light, 0.06 mag. The outer width is about 2.3 hours. The times scatter by 7 minutes rms, and the largest residual is 29 minutes. The phase fold has one minimum. Twice this period predicts times when the star is not faint, so the clock is one minimum every 1.87 days. The contamination ratio is 0.11. The stars 15 and 18 arcsec away have no QLP file, and the centroid shift is inside the scatter. The note is not a VSX submission.

Comparison stars are within about 1 mag of the target in Gaia G, have similar color, no close companion, and no VSX entry within 10 arcsec. Images: DSS2 red (POSS-II, STScI Digitized Sky Survey). Stars: ESA Gaia DR3.
VSX
Not filed. VSX has no object on this star. The nearest catalogued variables are a faint rotator 52 arcsec away and a semiregular 77 arcsec away.

The fade lasts about 2.3 hours. The largest residual is 29 minutes. Stars 15 and 18 arcsec away have no TESS light curve of their own, so keep them out of the aperture if you can.
Help with a measurement
A resolved aperture, with the stars 15 and 18 arcsec away kept separate, is what shows that this star is the one fading. Pick a date if you can try.

A 1.87-day minimum: TIC 430806628 (PDF)
These pages use the public TESS Quick-Look Pipeline and catalog positions. A prediction is not a confirmation. If you observe, write down which star was in the aperture.
