On the morning of 22 August 1943 Lieutenant (junior grade) C. Murray, of the Naval Reserve, had PT-125. She and PT-108 went into Webster Cove at 0730. PT-124 stayed outside and covered the entrance. Shore machine guns fired on the boats in the cove. The men killed there that morning were on PT-108.
