Afloat

Elco 80-foot torpedo boat of Squadron 6, later Squadron 10. Men called her Hogan's Goat, and later Who Me. On 1 February 1943 Clark W. Faulkner fired at Makigumo south of Savo. The torpedoes missed, and Yugumo scuttled that destroyer after a mine. The sinking is not this boat's. She was damaged off Meresu Cove on 4 September 1943. U.S. forces stripped her and burned her at Samar on 11 November 1945.
