HMAS Katoomba (J204) was a Bathurst-class corvette of the Royal Australian Navy. Alan P. Cousin became her captain on 17 December 1941. He was still in command the next month, when she joined the hunt off Darwin.

On 20 January 1942 Katoomba joined Deloraine and Lithgow over the submarine I-124. She came into the hunt after Deloraine had already used her depth charges.

Official credit for the sinking is shared. Katoomba is named with Deloraine, Lithgow, and Edsall, the four ships recognized together for the loss of I-124. Katoomba survived the war. She was paid off on 2 August 1948, and in 1957 she was sold for scrap.
