Minelaying submarine. Off Darwin she fired a torpedo at Deloraine and missed. The four hunters sank her. Eighty men were lost with her.

Sunk 20 January 1942 off Darwin. Officially credited to Edsall, Deloraine, Katoomba, and Lithgow together. Not pinned to one ship.
