HMAS Nestor (G02) was an N-class destroyer of the Royal Australian Navy, manned by an Australian crew. George Stewart was her captain from 3 February 1941. In June 1942 she was on the Malta run.

Off Crete on 15 June 1942 an air attack damaged the ship. Four men were killed in the bombing. The attack is not credited to one plane.

HMS Javelin took the crew off, and Nestor was scuttled the next morning, 16 June 1942. The loss was in the Mediterranean, not the Pacific. She was the only N-class ship lost.
