Photos and infoN-class destroyer. Australian crew. The only N-class ship lost. Aircraft damaged her on the Malta run and she was scuttled on 16 June 1942.
N classDamaged by air attack off Crete on 15 June 1942. Scuttled the next morning after HMS Javelin took the crew off. Four men were killed in the bombing. This loss was in the Mediterranean, not the Pacific. Not credited to one plane.
