Inazuma was an Akatsuki-class destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Kosaku Aruga served as her captain from 1 November 1934 until he was relieved on 15 October 1935.

Motoi Katsumi took command on 20 February 1939. Hajime Takeuchi became captain on 15 September 1941.

While Takeuchi was captain, Inazuma served in the Aleutian Islands from 3 June 1942. On 6 July she took off Nenohi's survivors.

Masamichi Terauchi became captain on 6 November 1942. On 13 November he had her in Abe's screen for the night action of the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal, with Akatsuki and Ikazuchi. She came through that night still afloat. Teizo Tokiwa took command on 20 November 1943. Tokiwa was still in command on 14 May 1944, when USS Bonefish sank Inazuma in the Celebes Sea.
