USS Albert W. Grant (DD-649) was a Fletcher-class destroyer of the United States Navy. She was launched on 29 May 1943 and commissioned on 24 November 1943. Terrell Andrew Nisewaner was her captain from the day of commissioning until 1 March 1945.

On 25 October 1944, while he still held command, Albert W. Grant was in the Battle of Surigao Strait. Gunfire from both sides hit the destroyer.

That fire left her with gun damage. She was kept afloat. No single ship is credited with the gunfire. On 1 March 1945, Grover Stanley Higginbotham became captain of Albert W. Grant. Albert W. Grant survived the war. The ship was sold for scrap on 30 May 1972.
