USS Morris (DD-417) was a Sims-class destroyer of the United States Navy. H. B. Jarrett was her captain from 5 March 1940.

She entered the Battle of the Coral Sea with the carrier Yorktown. On 8 May 1942 Morris was in Yorktown's screen, stationed with the destroyers around the carrier. She was not sunk.

On 4 June 1942 she screened Yorktown again, this time at the Battle of Midway. Her station that day was in the carrier's screen. She was not sunk there. On 1 April 1945 Morris was at Okinawa. In April a kamikaze wrecked her off the island. The ship stayed afloat after the kamikaze. She was not repaired. Morris was still afloat at the surrender. She survived the war.
