USS Neville (AP-16) was a United States Navy transport. Bethlehem Steel built her at Alameda, and the Navy commissioned her on 14 May 1941. She carried troops. The ship was later redesignated APA-9, and the hull survived.

On 7 August 1942 Neville took part in the landings on Guadalcanal and Tulagi. Her station was off Beach Blue at Tulagi.

At 6:30 that morning she lay off Beach Blue in Transport Group YOKE, in company with Zeilin, Heywood, and President Jackson. Captain Carlos A. Bailey was in command.

From that place off Tulagi she landed the Raiders and Marine Combat Team 2. Those troops went ashore at Beach Blue on the morning of 7 August 1942, and Neville came through the operation.
