Kalinin Bay was a Casablanca-class escort carrier, CVE-68. Captain T. B. Williamson had her.

On 25 October 1944 she was in Taffy 3 and she was hit. Shells struck her. She was not sunk. The ships that hit her are not pinned down. She came into San Diego later that autumn still afloat.

She survived the war.
