Mahan-class destroyer, DD-377. At the Coral Sea she was with Crace's cruisers and was not sunk. At Tassafaronga she was second in the destroyer van, behind Fletcher. On 29 November 1943 she was lost in a collision with the Australian transport Duntroon, off New Guinea.
