Yubari
Photos and infoExperimental light cruiser, one of a kind, named for a river on Hokkaido. On 11 December 1941 she was Rear Admiral Kajioka's flagship off Wake. The shore battery straddled her and did not hit. She led destroyers on to Savo Island. USS Bluegill sank her off Sonsorol on 28 April 1944.
