Photos and infoBagley-class destroyer. She broadcast the warning at Savo Island. One shell killed ten of her men. The ship that fired is not known. In the morning she took Canberra's survivors off. She survived the war. Decommissioned 8 November 1945 and sold for scrap on 18 August 1947.
