Photos and infoSubmarine. On the morning after the carrier fight she sighted the Japanese cruiser force. The cruisers turned, Mogami rammed Mikuma, and Tambor did not fire a hit into either of them.
On 5 June 1942 she sighted Kurita's cruisers. They turned away, and Mogami collided with Mikuma. Tambor did not hit them.
